The Queen Vsits Margate

What an amazing day for Margate, the Queen visited the Turner Contemporary, right opposite us, and strolled around the Old Town meeting Veterans and locals. The town was packed it was fantastic.

Papillon Event

Filming

Back to normality at Papillon today. Dominic Savage, Billie Piper and the crew are all down at The Turner Contemporary filming another episode of the True Life stories set in Thanet. Great news for the locals as many locations have been used - Margate, Broadstairs, Westgate etc.

Filming Papillon

It's a great day for Papillon, Working Title Films are filming 5 short stories base in Margate Kent and Papillon was chosen as a location for one of them. At the moment the shop is full of people filming, with Jane Horrocks as the lead lady! Lots of our own Alessi and Vitra chairs on show. Can't wait to see it on Tv in the spring.
